CORN FLAKE FEED:
As a result of the analyzes made in the quality control
laboratory, the corn that meets the criteria is transferred to the cooking
boiler (Steam Cheast) after being purified from foreign materials. Here, the
corn, which is cooked for 45-60 minutes with steam at the appropriate
temperature (130-150 °C), is passed through crushing cylinders (flaker) and is
crushed to a suitable thickness (1.5 mm) and the starch is gelatinized. Corns
with maximum digestion are cooled in special cooling bands. After being reduced
to the appropriate temperature and humidity, the product is packed in silos.
Corn, which has passed through these production stages,
gelatinizes the starch contained in it, increases its digestibility, and
increases the animal's use of the starch and energy of the corn kernel, thus
increasing the meat and milk yield by 10-15%.
