MIX FLAKE FEED:
As a result of the analyzes made in the
quality control laboratory, the corn and barley that meet the criteria are
transferred to the Steam Cheast after being purified from foreign materials.
Here, corns cooked for 45-60 minutes with steam at the appropriate temperature
(130-150 °C) and barley cooked at (120-130 °C) for 30-40 minutes are passed
through flakers and crushed to an appropriate thickness (1.5 mm). It is formed
into flakes and gelatinization of starch is provided. Corns/barley with maximum
digestion are cooled in special cooling bands. After being reduced to the
appropriate temperature and humidity, the product is packed in silos.
Corn and barley, which pass through these
production stages, gelatinize the starch contained in it, increase its
digestibility, increase the animal's use of starch and energy from grain barley
and corn, and increase meat and milk yield by 10-15%.
